Hi There,

New to the forum. I am a sleep tech who fits, trials and sells CPAP equipment. I don't have a device myself though and I was hoping you could all give me some personal experience about questions as I come across them.

I currently have a client who is interested in the Resmed Lithium PowerStation. My question is, roughly how many days of use do you get prior to needing a charge? I do understand this will vary depending on pressure settings, humidification etc. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can also get power packs a lot cheaper on Amazon and eBay that does the same job but at a lot less cost. There is also a supplier sells a power pack battery that they say will last two nights with a ResMed machine, but of course that will also depend on the demand for power.

How long they last depends on what treatment is being used (CPAP, BiPAP etc) and what the pressure is set at. Even in the best case scenario it would need to be charged every day. They won't hold 2 full nights charge.

By the way, hi there fellow tech.

Yes, that will affect the power drain and the demand for power.
