I have been using my CPAP machine for the past 8 years
I had at least 4 sleep studies done with basically the same results
no changes to my CPAP prescription
I use my CPAP every night, but I don't usually fell refresh
specially in the mornings:
I feel hot
cold sweats
light headache
tired
can't concentrate
my doctor tells me that is my antidepressant prescription
but, I am not sleepy, I am just very tired
There is a new therapy for sleep apnea. I have used it for nearly 5 years. It is an Inspire implant that works wonderfully. I have severe sleep apnea and used CPAP for years. It helped some, but does not compare to the Inspire Therapy

Hi @UnderstandingRedNarwhal3345 (Fausto). Medications often make people feel very tired. Fatigue can be an unfortunate side-effect of many prescription medications, and your physician may be able to help you manage this. For you sleep apnea, is your treatment being monitored? It is important to understand whether your nightly treatment is controlling your sleep apnea. Best wishes!

I would encourage you to do some research. Look at a reputable site for ALL side-effects of the medications you take. Discuss these with your doctor and if you find that one could be causing problems, see if there is an alternative. I can't tell if you are male or female and what your age is. Gender and age could also factor into your feelings of hot and cold, fatigue and lack of concentration. Educate yourself the best you can about your condition and talk more to your doctor, especially if the medication side-effects can be ruled out.
