Any recycle operations that take mask rejects or do we just throw them in the dumpster ?

If it has a reasonable amount of plastic on it I would just toss it in my local recycle bin. It's not dangerous and it's not particularly valuable.

If your recycle systems are as inept as ours it will end up as landfill whatever you do with it.

I have rationalized keeping my rejected masks for some emergency or back up. Others keep saying one needs an alternative to the nasal pillow when you have a cold. So far I haven't. I am desperately hoping however, I will not be forced to use that miserable F20 full face mask. My wife ended up using my F&P Brevida and really likes it. And I also have half of a Swift FX and half of a P10 sitting in the spare parts bin also...
