I have severe sleep apnea. I hated CPAP. I'm considering the INSPIRE surgery which utilizes electrical stimulation to the nerves at the back of the tongue in order to prevent airway blockage. I would like to hear from individuals who have had this procedure. Was it successful? Did it substantially improve your sleep apnea? What were the "down sides?" Would you do it again? If not why not?
