My four year old Air 10 started making a loud wheezing noise when I inhale with my cpap. The local distributor (Medigy) said there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Any ideas of what can be done? It still works fine except the noise won't let me fall asleep with it on.
A previous commenter said they solved a noise problem by securely seating the humidifier tank. If that doesn't fix it, maybe it's worn and needs replacement. Maybe dirt around edge fitting into Air 10. (Just a guess.)

Have you replaced the air inlet filter? There are also seals between the humidifier tank and the machine that may be leaking. They can be replaced. Here is a link to a technical manual that shows you how to inspect and clean the various seals. The complete humidifier tank can be replaced also.
