I received my CPAP machine a little over a year ago, I used the Airfit P10 nasal pillows with no problems in all that time. Recently I received a new P10 and for the past two weeks I wake up with severe pain in my nose and I even have a sore bloody spot on my nostril.
Doctor tells me to contact supplier, supplier shrugs me off.
What the heck changed? I threw my ratty old pillows and gear out so I can not go back. Sleeping without my CPAP is pointless, I have over 150 events per hour without it.

The obvious would be to buy a different type mask. It is doubtful that the designer of this P10 mask changed designs in any meaningful way which now suddenly causes you pain and blood spots. I use a full face Amara View which essentially fits UNDER my nose and not over it and covers my mouth and causes ME (subjective here) NO discomfort. I also get almost zero mask leaks while using a boil and bite mouth guard which prevents my chin from sagging during the night causing my mouth to open. Lots of masks and everyone will find a favorite but if one was causing me to bleed, I would find a totally different mask especially if the replacement mask you are using is identical to the old one in size and conformation.

Is the bleeding from inside your nostril? If so, humidification can help with this. If you do not have a humidifier, try one, and if you do hae one, make sure it is correctly adjusted.
