I have a Resmed S9 VPAP machine that I bought from the USA. It has worked well for a number of years. Over the last few nights it has given an error message saying that the sensor is faulty. I live in Australia. I have contacted Resmed in Australia, who advised that it was not worth having the machine repaired as the model has been superseded and they no longer have parts for it. They further said that if they do, by chance, have parts it would be more expensive to repair than buying a new machine. Can anyone who has had a similar problem or is technically minded give me any advice on what i should do. Thanks, Philip
If you are good with repairing electronics, and can find the part number for the defective part you can search for that. If you can't fix it yourself I don't know.
Some people won't fix medical equipment, but your laws may vary.
