CA events increasing AHI

I am using a Resmed A10 and I notice that the CA events are the majority of my AHI number every night. These are pushing the AHI almost consistantly well above 5. My OA episodes are resolved well below my max setting 0f 5-15. I have had 2 sleep studies in the last year and neither have observed any complex or central sleep apneas. I have had zero mask leaks on my F20 full face mask on most nights. The few times I have been below 5 (3.2 and 4.1) I have noticed a tremendous difference in increased energy during the day. The little research I have done with the sleeplyhead software seem to indicate that these CA events might be a yawn. Is is possible I am yawning because my oxygen levels have dropped? How do I find this out and has anyone had a similar problem and could you graciously point me in the right direction? I know it is good when it works, but lately my therapy is falling a little short of the desired results.

Thanks

Not sure what you are looking for as far as help/advice. Your sleep studies reported no or low incidence of central apneas but your sleepyhead software is showing them? You mentioned the software indicates CA events "may be a yawn". I don't understand but if you are yawning a lot, guess this indicates you likely need to take a look at your blood oxygen levels. I am on my second PULSE OXIMETER. First one recently had the LED display get very dim and that made it hard to operate/change settings so I bought a new one. Once I figured out how to work the new one (instructions incomprehensible), I found my SPO2 levels were fine. Prior to therapy my blood oxygen levels were down into the low 70s and I yawned constantly and tended to nod off during the day. These instances came when driving, operating power tools, etc. No good. If you buy a PULSE OXIMETER, make sure it can store data and upload it to a computer via USB. The one I have MUST use the USB cord provided as a normal USB cord doesn't work (they don't mention this). The device looks like a wrist watch and has a rubber probe that fits on your finger at night and I find it pretty non-intrusive. If you can wait for shipping and get it direct from China, costs about $50. Manufacturer is Contec (I think that is right)>

If you've had 2 sleep studies, they should absolutely have noticed if your oxygen was dropping, so that should not be the case. Do you get any leg (or other) twitches that you know of? These could cause such a result.
