I'm planning on sending you a zoomed in screen shot when I have more time to check it out. Right now I'm just sending the daily report which is not bad for the first night on auto bipap.
Yes, I accidentally discovered that and I see it's usefulness. I'm excited...I'm about to go to bed, and per your advice I have the machine on auto bipap IPAP: 15 EPAP 8. Hopefully I'll have a good section to blow up and show you. I hope I don't have my hopes up too much but I believe it was a good move to go to the auto bipap and I feel really good about the 15/8. I think it's the best possible starting point.
You've convinced me. I feel like you need to be on cpap just so you'll know whether you are right or wrong. When you're in a position of being tired all the time, you want to try anything to make it better, because it gets harder and harder to tolerate. I hope you'll figure out a way to get one. I think if you're willing to pay for a machine and you think it will improve you, you should be allowed to do it, Even it you have to do it by paying the full price of the product. I think some people are extra sensitive to lower HCIs or there's a problem that the sleep study's missing for some reason, or the sleep study caught you on the three best days of your life for less apneas. I don't think a few days is enough time to monitor sleep apnea. No two nights of sleep are the same. I've had my own AHI numbers monitored since the middle of September. That's around 50 numbers. Each one is different.
This is a statement packed with the secret, I believe. "With SleepyHead you will be able to see what pressure is needed to normalize the obstructive apnea, and at what pressure the central apneas start to appear." Just from a month of wresting with a much less revealing app, I totally get it now. Bring obstructive down as low as possible and then figure out a balance between clear airway and obstructive. I'm learning the software better and it's amazing.
LOL. Well we are almost on the same page. I had already done that this morning (which, of course, doesn't show up yet) but my numbers were 14 and 8. I will change the 14 to 15. Thanks. I'll post my Tuesday night numbers tomorrow.
And yes...That's correct
Okay...Great. Glad you noticed. Thank you
Oh, that helped a lot more than some. I have it set now at IPAP: 15 And EPAP: 8. Also, VS2 is now red and the rest of the flags are green. I will make all new screen shots and send them your way. I didn’t think you were a medical professional, I said you were an expert. I understand your reason for a disclaimer but I don’t need a medical professional, I need an expert. Lol. Again, thanks so much.
One more thing. Last night (early this morning) I woke up and my mask was on, but not connected, but the machine was still pumping air. I'm not sure why. I assume I got up to go to the bathroom and forgot to reconnect because I was half asleep. Thought you'd see that event in the reports and might wonder.
