Had no problems with it until recently (got it in December, 2018).

Suspect someone might have put some kind of chemicals into my distilled water - however, I did turn the "heated tube channel" down to zero and the other one on top to zero. Thus, no humidity, as my doctor told me (need to turn it back up, which I have).

DOES A NEW MACHINE (all of that plastic) cause dizziness ? Again, no problems until recently.

Living in a shelter right now, so I don't know who I am around - and I know "NOBODY".

Weird.

anyway, what do you think ?

My experience with a ResMed is that if you run the humidifier dry it gets pretty hot before it shuts itself down, and stinks pretty bad. Cleaning with vinegar and rinsing out with soap and water, and just water on the final rinse corrects it.

You could be picking up outside odors but even then I don't know why you would feel dizzy.

Hi PWhite

I can't imagine what it would be like to be in a shelter with a CPAP machine. :(

If you are still in difficult circumstances can you request a secluded spot where nobody can get near your machine?

Or befriend a sensible person who can look out for you?

Maybe you could talk to more people and ask for help.
