wearing glasses with a cpap mask

I was curious if anyone has a link to a cpap mask that will still let me keep my glasses on. Sometimes I like to fall asleep watching tv or reading something. it would easier if I could already have the mask on and fitting the way I want and not have to fiddle with it when I get all good and drowsy finally.

I am not much for first hand knowledge of this... my Simplus is a full face mask that has a big plastic stanchion that doesn't allow glasses. If you google: cpap mask and eye glasses... a bunch of masks pop up especially in the images that look like glasses would be possible. A lot has to do with the type mask you use as I think many full face masks would not be in the category of glasses friendly.

Hi Aimeetx. Usually, most masks that do not involve a forehead piece work okay with glasses. You might consider contacting you equipment provider, as they will know what kind of mask you currently have and can recommend something in the same category that might work well for you.

I am currently using nasal pillows with my ResMed AirSense 10. I find I can put my glasses back on, after fitting the head-gear, etc., on, and it is comfortable. Do not get the head gear for nasal pillows that has no adjustable features. I found that useless. JudyBj

I had the same problem and now have something similar to this--I can wear glasses with it and take them off when I'm ready to doze off. Good luck.

I just obtained the 37203/ CPAP AirSense 10 CPAP CO with HumidAir - that allows me to wear glasses once I have it on and I can even use headphones as well. It's a Godsend.

When on vacation I need eye shades to sleep because the rooms are never dark enough. With a nose mask, you can make them work, so I'd imagine glasses would also.

I use a PR DreamWear mask. It is quite small and I use my glasses with no problem.

amara view is a full face masks that does not cover the upper part of your nose.

you would have no issues wearing glasses with the amara view. i love mine. it is lightweight, and the least obstructive full face mask i've found.
