https://soundcloud.com/user-777111298/sleep-more-berkeley Hey everyone! I'm a psych student in one of my classes, "The Psychology of Sleep". In class, we learn and understand the benefits and detriments of sleep. In this song I performed, I perform from the point of view of "The Sandman", a mythical creature with European origins based around granting dream, and sleep. As a college student, I know how hard it can be to get a good night of sleep, especially in such a hectic environment when surrounded by the stressed of work, school, and responsibilities. So, get some sleep! Below are the most common benefits of sleeping for 8+ hours every night. Building muscle Improved mood levels Decrease of nearly ALL diseases Lower risk of injury Better weight control Clearer thinking Better memory Any one of these is more than enough to try and improve your own sleep better. So, SLEEP MORE!

Thanks for reaching out to all of us here who have sleep issues. You have a good start but simply telling someone who isn't getting enough sleep to sleep more won't make it happen! Maybe you could start a discussion in your class on the various sleep problems people have and learn more about WHY we don't sleep? Education on all aspects is vital! Thanks for sharing!
