I have been on CPap than BiPap for 15 years- so not new at this. My new concern is varying events per hour..I use a Air Curve 10 with a Fit Life full face mask on 18 pressure. In two weeks use I have had from 6 to 47 EPH. Neither Doctor nor Supplier have answer. Any one else???

Have you had your machine checked out? I had one that wasn't old by any stretch but stopped providing appropriate pressure. The machine was showing it was blowing air at a certain pressure but when tested it was far below what it was reading.

I'm also having an overnight study done soon because my doctor wants to make sure my AHI readings are correct. Which would seem to indicate that it's possible the readings can be wrong. Do you feel like you are having that many apneas? I know some people don't notice even when they have severe apnea but others do. Do you feel any difference since these readings changed?

That is a lot of variation, and 47 is pretty high for residual AHI. What is your leak level like? If you have bad leak on some nights, this could be reducing the sensitivity of your machine to your events leading it to report an artificially low AHI. Overall, a sleep study with your BiPAP on will give the best answers.

Is your pressure set to 18 and in CPAP mode? An Aircurve 10 is far more expensive than a regular CPAP machine. Is this machine a new to you bit or is the same one you have been using? If new, time for a new sleep/titration study as it sounds like a new machine may have changed the game.
