You're all over the place with your questions.
You probably don't need a setting of 5.... thats why you have to add water twice a day. I set mine on 1 with no congestion problems and the tank last three days sometimes less depending on if my heater runs more frequently then I up it to 2. If the plate is hot then you are having humidified air. Weird noises? You need another machine. Do you really need the ramp to be on? It helps you fall asleep before the pressure settings come in. Transition yourself before hitting the pillow for the night and you won't need the ramp setting. Melatonin, light doses, 1-3 MG not 10 unless you need it, if you can take it, check with your Dr first. Chamomile/lavander tea, and a light snack........ and eye shades.
just keep you harness clean that's all. I learned that warm water showers and washing your face with just your hands is key.
maybe the harness is too tight
I'd stay away from vinegar... you may not be rinsing well enough. Just use a mild dish detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. If that isn't the problem raise up the humidifier setting and preheat before bed. Also try some nasal gel too before bed. I do, however, the nasal pillow doesn't fair well with higher pressure for me anyway. You might need a full face mask.
Useless to go to APAP. Stay with 11 minimum and it's like being on CPAP. No ramp, Flex is fine for comfort.
clean by hand is highly recommended. Warm water and mild soap.
depends on how difficult it is to replace it. You good with electronics?
Sierra, probably his daily screen for the day. Bill we could use OSCAR. It's analyzer software that gives a result report of your machines therapy'
https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/ download it for now and insert your SD card from your machine... and yes, what Machine do you have? Sierra... some don't have a SD I think?
Sounds like you have an APAP.. auto PAP. Are you sure you have 0 AHI? Doesn't sound right, especially having a APAP.
You can get woken up from leaks if they hit your skin or arm hair or blast your pillow and you can hear it... but leaks can cause events yes. Leaks mean less pressure and you are loosing therapy. Raise pressure to 13 and then lightly cinch the top straps to keep the mask in place, pull the bottom straps gradually until the mask stops leaking, not to fast or too tight, gradually.
