The machine records the data and then sends the data to a data collection site when your session is compleate or the machine has been turned off for a while. The data center processes the data and sends it to MyApp.
As long as the machine is on, (see Sierra's post) you are having events, but they may be false positive events. At one point I was awake, had my mask on, laughed or sighed, I made some sort of throat sound, and the machine reported it as a snore. I used Sleepyhead to see it was reported as a snore.
The app isn't any better than the webpage. I uninstalled the app and use the webpage either from my phone, tablet or desktop. https://myair.resmed.com/Default.aspx)
I read this article, it might help someone. I have not tried it enough but I do think I get a better night sleep when I do have an egg before bed.
Is a hard-boiled egg the best bedtime snack? Nick Bitz, ND, naturopathic doctor and chief scientific author at YouTheory, makes a strong case for eating an egg (boiled, poached, or sunny-side up) when the moon is high in the sky. Eating an egg as a source of protein before bed could help you sleep better, he says. “I’ve found that if you eat a little bit of protein at night before you got to sleep—maybe about 6 grams of protein, which is the equivalent of an egg—it gives you a nice blood-sugar balance through most of the night,” said Dr. Bitz at the most recent Well+Good TALK in New York City. Women are particularly susceptible to glucose dysregulation, he explained. In response, the body produces cortisol (the stress hormone), which can wake you up.

Oscar isn't a day behind, the sleep day measurement starts at noon each day. The measurement can't start at midnight because people are usually sleeping at that time. The machine needs to measure a full sleep cycle, the machine is going to count your sleep time overnight. Resmed machine update the internal clock when they connect to the cell towers. Cell towers have very accurate clocks.
My suggestion is that if you are short by 15 minutes, lay in bed with the mask on and machine running for the remaining time. If you can't do it then, go back and later in the day and run the machine for a few minutes wearing the mask. Just remember the day starts at noon.
It would seem to me that "in-app" would mean you would have to be using the web page to get the notification. You get a pop-up notification, or the bell in the upper right changes color if someone replies while you are still logged in. Check your email option in settings to see if you have it turned on.
Thank you, the Device SW shows up in the regular menu, no need to go into the clinical menu. I have a different number, SX567-0401.
I noticed a while ago my cell provider changed which I thought was interesting.
Last night was my one-year anniversary of using my A10.
The past two nights I have not had a good nights rest, I have been getting up several times each night. The machine did automatically shut off each time.
I noticed this as well on my A10 machine at the same time I switched from a nostril mask to a nose cushion mask. I changed the mask and the setting on the machine. When I switched back the problem didn't happen anymore, the machine turns off as it should. I usually turn the machine off manually rather than have it switch off by itself, it might still be happening but I don't notice.
I wondered if it had a software update, I wish it gave a notice for updates, but I am a technical person so I like seeing that information.
The pillows/cushions do wear out. With cleaning and use they will not be in the best condition. The recommended times and your usage will vary. If the pillow/cushion starts to feel soft, or when you get more air leaks change it. If it is working, don't worry about it.
I had a hissing problem a few times, it was always because the water chamber wasn't in the unit correctly.
I have found a down or feather type pillow works well. You can form it anyway you wish.
