I remember those days you're having now, im 3 and a half months using my Cpap machine and I can tell you it does get easier my dear.
At first I was only getting between 1 - 2hrs sleep a night, getting up for work at 5am feeling like crap. But now I'm getting between 6 - 7hrs sleep. It took alot of tweeking my machine to suit me also i had to try a few different Masks.
Don't be hard on yourself, you will get there, it takes time. I never thought I'd be able to write anything positive on here but look at me now.
If i can do this you can, take a day at a time, and just make little changes to your temps etc.
Wish you all the best.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I found the guide confusing.
I believe they do a fit pack complete with all the sizes, but everywhere I tried were out of stock until the New Year and I couldn't wait that long as I wasn't getting on with the full face mask I have, and I just needed a good nights sleep.
Oh well guess I'll have to go spend more money to get a bigger size now.
Unless anyone on here has a medium and will swop me for my small one. Lol....
With the size guide, it only gets you to measure your nose and not your mouth, when I done this I came up as a small, but I feel I need the medium after wearing this for a couple of nights now, coz sometimes when I snore my bottom lip tries to fall out the bottom of the mask.
Does anyone know, with the 4 sizes, does the whole Masks come up bigger around the mouth, or is it just the nose part that changes?
Can anyone tell me if the nose opening is different between all sizes please?
Thank you both for your replies.
I did use the sizing guide before I ordered it, and it stated I needed a small, but I'm just concerned because half my nostrils will be covered by the mask.
Oh well I'll give it a try tonight, see how I get on.
I got my DreamWear Full Face Mask today, tried it on and the nose bit covers half my nostils on each side, is this how it's meant to be?
Sorry if this is a silly question. Lol....
Hope you are all well.
I like to travel and get away for weekend breaks etc.
I was thinking about getting a Travel Cpap machine as my Resmed is just to big and heavy to carry around with all my other luggage.
Has anyone tried a Travel Cpap machine before, are they any good? and does anyone have any comments on the one I should get?
Thanking you in advance for your help.
Thanks for your reply. The Nhs has given me a full face one, but I find it uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose. So I was looking for another type, but will have to purchase it myself.
It's my 4th week of using my Cpap machine.
I'm looking for UK Masks suppliers, can anyone give me some websites please.
