Try a small bar beyond your feet, you ninny. Maybe freebie hotel size. LOL
Andrey, did you wear green on St. Patty's day? Could be "imp" revenge! LOL. I saw your responses too. Very informative. Thanks for sharing.
Bonjour, guruuu, thank youuu! It worked this morning just fine and included my last 2 sessions. (Many thanks to the SH developer(s) who labored so hard to bring us what we have today.) C'mon OSCAR! I'm still learning how to read SH info and extract much needed knowledge from the 70 pages of "Beginners Guide to SH" I downloaded and printed. Know that I am grateful every day for this Forum and all who contribute. Without your efforts I would still be struggling, swimming in the morass of darkness created by this new challenge of SA therapy. I'm building more confidence daily that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Happy REMs to all...
Background: Still a newbie, starting 1/31/19 on Resmed 10 s BiPAP, now with 4th mask (1-Resmed Full Face F20, 2-DreamWear Nasal, 3-DreamWear Full Face, and 4-Resmed Full Face F30). MyResmed reports last 3 of 4 have been scored 100! Yea!!! Feel better already. My original sleep lab tested me at 63 events in 1 hr. SH says I'm now averaging <5 AHI. There is hope for those of you still struggling.
Very inconsistent data import. When I open SH and select "import" it looks like its reading in a bunch of data every time. But the most current session doesn't always load. I can retry 10X and still not there.
Using MAC SleepyHead-1.1.0-testing-20180613-9da8b2a7-macOS with the sheep image in dock to click on to start. BUT when opened the top bar in SH screen says "SleepyHead v1.1.0-unstable-0 [9da8b2a7 Open GL] (Profile: SLEEPLZ}"
I've downloaded SH and installed many times with different versions. Still inconsistent. When I IMPORT and a pop-up shows its using an "NO NAME" file, then latest session will show up every-time. Then 2 or 3 days/sessions later it loads OK with all data available. YIKES!!!
RLS - Google "rls treatment". Under the "People also ask" there are lots of options to consider. I have a friend who put a bar of soap under her sheets and it stopped her night time problems. Worth a try.
Maybe try walking around the house, watch TV with just your mask on(no hose), getting used to "the thing" on your face.
Maybe try putting the mask on without the hose during non-sleep hours and reading, TV, phone, etc. to get used to "the thing" on your face. It would be normal being extra aware of a mask when first starting therapy and having it disrupt your sleep. Good luck.
Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams by Matthew Walker PhD | Jun 19, 2018 ISBN-10: 1501144324 ISBN-13: 978-1501144325 Amazon: #1 in Dementia #1 in Sleep Disorders #1 in Anatomy (Books)
Bought paperback, cheaper than Kindle ebook. Just starting to read today.
Hey, PhylissK from the Show Me state, welcome aboard. Anyone interested in intermittent fasting but wondering which of the hundreds of books to trust? I highly recommend you read "the IF diet robert skinner" ASIN: B00B0CQXGM along with your CPAP therapy and the great people on this Forum. Right now it's free from Amazon as an Ebook. Everybody should read this to understand how our body works with what we put into it. I just started this week. (And HIIT - high interval intermittent training. (Starting tomorrow.)
Went to the Sleep Show in Houston twice this w/e. (More later on new topic.) Talked to Dr. David Neubauer, who made several presentations, (authored "Understanding Sleeplessness: Perspectives on Insomnia" ASIN: B07BVF1Z6Z) and we discussed intermittent fasting, the critical point about understanding eating and when. He recommended "The Circadian Code: Lose Weight, Supercharge Your Energy, and Transform Your Health from Morning to Midnight" by Satchin Panda. WOW!!! This is now on my reading list.
I'm an overweight newbie too, BiPAP since Jan 31! So much to learn...
A previous commenter said they solved a noise problem by securely seating the humidifier tank. If that doesn't fix it, maybe it's worn and needs replacement. Maybe dirt around edge fitting into Air 10. (Just a guess.)
